What to expect at your New Patient Experience

You can anticipate your new patient experience to take up to an hour and a half with the doctor. This time will allow us to break the ice between the patient and the office. This appointment provides you with the opportunity to talk one on one with Dr. Killian about what you expect your future to look like here at Preference Dental. During the exam Dr. Killian will complete an oral cancer screening, a soft tissue exam, listen for jaw joint sounds, evaluate bite relationship, examine the gums and periodontal structures, take photographs and any necessary x-rays, and of course a detailed tooth examination. All these details help diagnose the next steps, whether it be seeing our hygienist, or another appointment with the doctor for treatment.
