We are always working to bring the best technology to our patients and our newest dental hygiene polisher is no exception. In December 2016, our Dental Hygiene Team started using the latest in polishing technology. Gone are the days of gritty paste at the end of your appointment. The new AIR FLOW polishing technology utilizes a silky glycine powder that blasts away plaque bacteria and food debris with ease and comfort.

After utilizing the glycine polisher, our team uses the cavitron unit and hand instruments to remove buildup in the most effective way possible. Not only does this system eliminate debris, but more importantly the biofilm that is a main risk factor for periodontal disease, cavities, and implant infections. These measures coupled with good oral hygiene between appointments help our patients to achieve the best oral health possible.
